Hydra-Firm is a proprietary soil surfactant designed to deliver tournament type conditions. Surfactant polymers designed to ensure lateral movement of water, rapid rewetting, and uniformity of moisture are combined with penetrating surfactants. This combination is designed to deliver a firm, dry playing surface while maintaining optimal overall soil moisture conditions. Cation sequestering polymers are added to condition the water and limitcation interaction with spray tank mixes. Hydra-Firm is a blend of two capped tri-block polymers. This tri-block configuration means that there are three attachment points per molecule that secure the polymers to the soil particle for more uniform and thorough hydration than other competitive products while resisting microbial degradation and surfactant failure.
